After 30 plus years of executive experience with IBM, Burroughs, MCI and various telecommunications companies, Paul saw the burden families were under when trying to send their kids to college. He saw mounting student debt and students unhappy with their degrees. He founded College Assistance Plus to help families with the financial burden and the emotional aspect of this immense purchase. Paul is fulfilled when he gets to assist families in getting additional financial aid to the tune of tens of millions of dollars over the last years.

With over 10 years of high-level sales, management, consulting, and entrepreneurial experience, Ben brings a unique skill set and background to College Assistance Plus. After meeting Paul and learning about the incredible business he founded, Ben knew he had to get involved and leverage his experience in corporate growth and business development to help reach more students and families in need. A passion for assisting clients in achieving their dreams, while making them more affordable, developed rapidly and now he can’t get enough! In his spare time (haha), Ben loves spending time with his wife and twin stepdaughters, golfing, and boating on New York’s beautiful lakes.

With over 20 years in experience, Dustine brings a wealth of financial expertise to the table. With a focus on fiscal health and long-term viability, she optimizes financial performance while maintaining a prudent approach to resource allocation. Dustine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Colorado State University and has honed her skills through various financial leadership roles. Driven by a commitment to excellence, Dustine collaborates with the team to navigate financial challenges and achieve strategic objectives. She fosters a culture of financial responsibility and sustainable growth, ensuring College Assistance Plus remains on a path to success.

Doreen brings more than 17 years of customer service and sales support to CAP. In addition, her educational certifications, business knowledge and customer relationship skills help her provide compassionate guidance to families throughout the college process.

My role is all about building genuine connections and ensuring you have the best possible experience with our services. With a background in customer support and account management and a passion for helping others, I’ve learned that the key to success is truly understanding your needs and working alongside you to achieve your goals. Think of me as your personal guide, always ready to lend a hand, answer your questions, and celebrate your victories.

Dylan holds a BA in History from SUNY Fredonia and a Post-Bac Certification in Technology Education from SUNY Buffalo. He has spent five years as a Middle/High School Technology and Construction Teacher, where he excelled in breaking down complex Career and Technical Education concepts through project-based learning. His experience in motivational speaking and relationship building has enabled him to connect deeply with diverse audiences. As Vice President of Marketing at College Assistance Plus, Dylan uses his educational background and communication skills to craft strategic marketing initiatives that guide families through the college admissions and financial aid process. He is passionate about creating inclusive and dynamic educational communities, both in-person and online, that empower students to succeed.

Elena worked in health care before coming to join the CAP team. She is driven to help your family with all that College Assistance Plus has to offer! Her research and client relations skills help drive the success of our program, and she is a critical component of onboarding new consultants to the team.

With 16 years in secondary education and over 10 years in sales, Gayle is a master seminar speaker who passionately helps families navigate the complex college application process. She is committed to delivering results that empower families to thrive, regardless of economic circumstances. By the end of her presentation, you'll share in her unshakable optimism and confident courage, equipped with proven tools and a supportive team by your side for years to come.

Antone Mayweather, Northeast Area Director

Antone earned his Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Mercy University and he earned his Teacher's Certification and Master's degree in Physical Education from Manhattanville College. Antone has spent 15+ years in commercialism and 15+ years teaching in the NYC Public School System. Throughout the years he has worked as a coach and mentor to hundreds of student athletes, helping them navigate through the college admissions process and build interpersonal skills to work in the workforce. With transferring to many different colleges, Antone has firsthand knowledge of knowing the struggle of navigating through the college process. At College Assistance Plus, Antone leverages the team's expertise to guide students and their families through the complex college admissions process.

JUANA Gomez, Regional Director - Mexico

Juana is proud to say that she is Mexican American, born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and immigrating to the United States to pursue higher education. She fluent in both English and Spanish, using both during her 20+ years of journey in Administration, Education, and Business. She is regarded as a productive, positive, friendly person who fills a room with her charisma. It's contagious! Her studies and experience have developed into a versatile professional that can relate and speak to people with different backgrounds.

She has a B.A. in Business Administration, and a Court Interpreter Certificate. She is also certified as a teacher in six areas. Lastly, in 2023 she obtained her Masters in International Community Development. She was an administrator of a high school and a college in the United States. As an Interpreter, she worked in and with hospitals, law firms, and more. Finally, as a teacher, she has worked with students with special needs and prisoners in jail for both the youth and adults and in a psychiatric facility. Her passion sums up guiding people in the right direction and showing them how to use available resources.



Soy orgullosamente Mexicana Americana y nací en Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. Todos mis estudios han sido en los Estados Unidos. Hablo muy bien el español. En mi trayectoria de más de 20 años en las áreas de administración, educación y negocios me han llevado a trabajar con una gran cantidad de personas. Soy conocida como una persona muy productiva, positiva y amigable que tiene mucho carisma y cuando llegó a un lugar ¡Es contagioso!. Mis estudios han creado en mí, una personalidad que me ha desenvuelto para comunicarme con cualquier tipo de persona. 

Tengo una licenciatura en Administración de Empresas, estoy certificada como Intérprete Tribunal y Maestra en 6 áreas. Por último en el 2023 obtuve mi Maestría en Desarrollando Comunidades Internacionales. Fui administradora de una preparatoria y colegio de adultos en los Estados Unidos, como intérprete trabajé en hospitales, bufetes de abogados y más! Finalmente, como maestra trabajé con estudiantes de major necesidad, en la cárcel con presos de todas las edades (jóvenes y adultos) y un hospital psiquiátrico. En fin, me apasiona guiar a la gente por un buen camino y enseñarles cómo usar los recursos que están a la mano. 

Kate Solano, Seminar Director 

Kate is a dynamic bilingual professional with more than 20 years of experience in education and 10+ years in sales. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and International Business, as well as a Master’s degree in Education, from Nazareth University. Kate has served students and their families in public and independent schools and has also held leadership roles in education at the high school and university levels. She is deeply passionate about the transformative power of education and is committed to making college a reality for all families, with a special focus on Latino and immigrant families.
